Mac cooling fan and heatsink replacement.

Overheating:

Constant overheating is a common problem experienced by Mac users. The overheating kicks in when your Mac is overloaded with files and Apps.

You should not ignore overheating as it can permanently damage your Mac causing the hardware to malfunction due to heat exposure.

Reasons that can cause overheating:

When dust accumulates on parts like your motherboard, vents, keyboard, and fans the clogged fans are unable to cool the machine down and regular cleaning is needed to prevent it from overheating.

Another reason could be that your Mac is being overworked by keeping too many apps open at the same time.

Check the Macbook Fan:

If the Macbook fan is running at a higher speed or is noisy that is a sure sign of overheating. Noisy can also mean that the fan is broken or not working properly.

Prevention:

Regular service of your Mac can prevent these issues from cropping up at the most inopportune moment.

Thermal paste is critical for your Mac as it helps in the transfer of heat from the CPU to the heat sink. If the paste is old or dried your Mac will keep on overheating.

Different factors could be the cause of the overheating. It is often difficult to identify the exact root cause, in which case you’ll need to speak to an Apple specialist.
