Are you thinking of upgrading to macOS Catalina?
Firstly, can your Apple Mac be upgraded to maOS Catalina?
You need to determine whether you have a Mac that will support the new macOS Catalina upgrade. This could be an issue with older Macs. Contact Us to find out
Secondly, do you have the basic installation requirements to install macOS Catalina?
You need to make sure that you have the macOS Catalina installation requirements before you can even start the upgrade process. Apple recommend that you have at least 19GB of storage available for use and 4GB of RAM. Please bear in mind that this is the absolute minimum so it is helpful if you have more space in your hard disk drive or solid state drive as well as more than the amount of specified RAM for speed.
Thirdly, do you have a stable internet connection?
If you don’t want an upgrade to macOS to take all day it is important that you have a fast internet connection. It is even more important that it is a stable connection so that nothing interrupts the installation of the software. An unstable connection which interrupts the download can cause macOS Catalina to fail installing and your Apple Mac may not restart! Make sure you have 5G or fibre.
Are your Apple Mac apps 32-bit applications?
Make sure your Apple Mac apps are not 32-bit applications. If they are there is a chance that they will not work on macOS Catalina. If you are not sure how to check this please see instructions below.
